Kitchen Remodel Masters Houston is a veteran family-owned kitchen remodeler at 1923 Washington Ave, about 20 minutes from our Washington Avenue office from West University. We design the kitchen in 3D for free, build the cabinets and fabricate the countertops in our own shop, and run the job with a project manager who sends you a photo update every day. West University Place is a city of its own with 1920s to 40s cottages on small lots and the large two-story homes that have replaced most of them. Permits in West University
West University Place and Southside Place are separate cities with their own building divisions and inspection schedules, and West U is known for thorough inspections; we file there directly. Braeswood, Knollwood Village and Meyerland are City of Houston. Kitchen projects that move plumbing, gas or electrical, or remove a wall, need a City of Houston permit, which we pull and schedule inspections for. Do you pull permits in West University Place?
Yes. West U has its own building division, separate from Houston, with its own inspections. We file the permit and schedule the inspections for any project that moves plumbing, gas, electrical or a bearing wall.

Yes. Kitchens that were gutted after flooding are rebuilt from the slab up: new cabinets from our shop, new counters, electrical and plumbing to current code, with the City of Houston permit.
Can you replace builder cabinets in a new build?
Yes. Jose's team builds custom cabinets to the ceiling with panel-ready appliance fronts, and Eduardo's team fabricates the stone, both in our Houston shop.
How long does a full custom kitchen take?
Three to five weeks of construction for a large kitchen once cabinets and slabs are ready, with two to three weeks of design and selections before that.
